Thoughts on 2023 trends

Pops of red

It looks cute on others but I'm not a fan of red so it's not for me.

Slim sneakers (specifically Adidas sambas)

The Adidas sambas look meh to me but the Onitsuka tigers are soo cute. However,
this trend kinda scares me because it's hinting at a comeback of slimmer jeans,
and I would rather die than let my wide leg jeans go.

Midi Skirts

Yess! I LOVE midi skirts and always have been wearing them I'm so glad
people are finally appreciating their cuteness.

Bows

Y'all know I love bows and all the dresses and shirts with bows in their designs
get me every time. However, when people started using ribbon to tie bows
on everything it started to get a little boring. So I love bows in the designs of clothing
but not tying a bow onto something.

Metallic shoes and bags

Actually so cute but I can't bring myself to buy anything metallic
because I know it's going to go out of style fast:(

Denim

I've always been a denim dress kinda girly so this trend makes me so happy!

Cargo pants

Cargo pants are not ugly but I had a cargo pants phase in middle school and now
cargo pants remind me of times I do not want to remember.

Ballet flats with wide leg pants

Ballet flats are so cute and I always wear them with skirts but this recent trend
of ballet flats with wide leg jeans is... wierd to say the least. Wierd because when
I was 8 my mum tried to make me wear ballet flats with trousers and I told her "Mum!
you can't wear ballet flats with trousers, it looks wrong" and she tried to convince me
that's it's fine and I was not convinced and refused to wear them but now that it's
a trend I kind of see why people like it. Still wouldn't wear it though.
